SWEP-MA joins NEFF for "Women of Carbon" (Thursday, May 14, 2026)

SWEP-MA members are invited to join the New England Forestry Foundation (NEFF) for a viewing of the groundbreaking documentary “Women of Carbon” about women transforming construction while combating climate change, followed by an engaging panel discussion. The event will be hosted by Patagonia at their Cambridge location.

Visionary women are on a quest to inspire change for a sustainable planet. Their innovative work places them at the core of decarbonization, human health, and economic opportunity. Directed by Basia and Leonard Myszynski, “Women of Carbon” shares their empowering journeys and collective vision for a better world.

Free food and non-alcoholic drinks will be available to guests, and beer will be available for a $5 donation to benefit NEFF. Note that this is a NEFF event that SWEP-MA has been invited to attend.

Spring Networking Event - Mighty Squirrel, Waltham (Thursday, June 11, 2026)

Join the Society of Women Environmental Professionals, Massachusetts Chapter (SWEP-MA) for this networking event at Mighty Squirrel in Waltham.

Join us on Thursday June 11, 5:30-7:30 PM. The event will be outside weather permitting but will move inside if it rains. We do not have a reservation - look for our the group with SWEP signs on the tables.

SWEP will provide appetizers; drinks will be available for purchase.

Cost: Members are free, Non-members are $10. There are no refunds for networking events.
